Metaphor - Clowning Around

My friend is a clown.
She’s tall with big feet,
and certainly looks the part.
She makes hilarious jokes,
and laughs at them too.
Everyone believes she’s an idiot,
always embarrassing herself.
But she doesn’t care what people think,
as she clowns about.
She enjoys being the centre of attention,
and is always fun to be around.
